Biography

David was a Fellow with Sigma Prime from January to June 2015, bringing over 17 years of experience in technology innovation. David has worked with companies of all sizes, from early stage startups to publicly traded companies in the US, South America and Israel, covering Web, Mobile, Bio-Tech, IT & network security, SaaS/Cloud and enterprise software solutions.

Architecting and building new solutions and products, implementing the right processes for support and growth, and taking them to the market have always been his passion. Successful market impact, scalable and reusable technology, effective coordination across teams and close client relationships have always been his main objectives.

Background

While participating in the fellowship program at Sigma, David serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Mobile Messaging Solutions (MMS), a technology company mainly focused on high throughput, enterprise mobile solutions. David also  contributes his time to the advisory board of a non-profit organization, and mentors early stage startups through the JVMS mentoring service.

David's work at MMS started while at m-Qube, a Sigma Prime Venture backed company that was then acquired by Verisign, and later on acquired by Mobile Messaging Solutions. David brings extensive experience in designing, developing and managing technology teams at startups, and fortune 500 companies in various industries, including energy, medical devices, video on demand services, e-commerce and mobile solutions.

Education

David holds a BA in Computer Science from the PEC Institute of Technology - Venezuela.
